The GARDEN consortium gathered on 28–29 May 2026 in Aix-en-Provence, France, for the final project and Steering Committee meeting, hosted by Capenergies.
The meeting brought together project partners to reflect on the overall implementation of GARDEN, present the final results from pilot activities, review project outputs and deliverables, and coordinate the remaining steps towards project closure.
During the first day, partners presented pilot results and conclusions, followed by discussions on work package outputs, current progress, deliverables, and evaluation activities. The programme also included the GARDEN Game, which provided an interactive opportunity to exchange ideas and reflect on the project’s key messages.
The second day was dedicated to a visit to Campus Provence Verte and the GARDEN pilot site, followed by a Steering Committee discussion involving all partners. This part of the meeting provided an important opportunity to review the practical implementation of project activities and discuss the final steps ahead.
As the GARDEN project approaches its conclusion, this final meeting represented a meaningful moment to look back at the results achieved, the knowledge exchanged, and the partnerships strengthened throughout the project. It also highlighted the consortium’s joint contribution to supporting smarter, greener and more sustainable food supply chains across the Mediterranean region.
