GARDEN Final Conference Successfully Held in Athens

25/05/2026

The GARDEN Final Conference successfully brought together project partners and stakeholders in Athens, Greece, for two productive days of reflection, exchange, and strategic discussion on the future of greener agri-food logistics in the Mediterranean region.

The conference provided an important opportunity to review the project’s achievements, share experiences from pilot implementations and partner activities, reflect on lessons learned, and discuss pathways for sustaining and amplifying the project’s impact beyond its formal implementation period.

Through presentations, discussions, and collaborative exchanges, partners revisited key milestones of the GARDEN journey, explored project outputs and results, and addressed future opportunities for supporting sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon food logistics systems across the Mediterranean.

Beyond the formal agenda, the event also reinforced the value of transnational cooperation, bringing together diverse perspectives, expertise, and shared commitment toward a greener future for agri-food systems.

We extend our sincere thanks to all project partners, contributors, and participants for their engagement, valuable insights, and continued collaboration.

While the Final Conference marks an important milestone, the GARDEN journey continues through ongoing cooperation and the next strategic steps ahead.
